About us
Magallanes is an independent equity-only asset management, following value investment philosophy and controlled by its founders.
We aim to preserve and increase our clients’ capital by overperforming the market in the long term. Our investors are our priority and Magallanes’ most important asset. We are aware of the fiduciary responsibility that comes with managing their assets, and manage and protect them in a diligent, responsible and committed manner, subject to solid ethical principles.
Magallanes Value Investors takes its name, in part, by the great historical character Fernando de Magallanes, and partly as a tribute to what is possibly the best mutual fund in history for investment returns, the Magellan Fidelity Fund managed by legendary value investor Peter Lynch, with an annualised return of close to 30% during its 13-year term.
